Day 2

today was another great day. i planned on running but the day really took on a life of its own so i didnt get any exercise in. i woke up at 6 to pray then went back to bed. when i awoke i had breakfast and then headed to pick up my sis for our colonic appointments (yippee!).

the colonic - fabulous. a very interesting experience. it felt so good to finally be doing something good and absolutely necessary for my body. i have 2 more appointments scheduled for next week and it is my goal to go once a week for the next nine weeks after that.

i had to then go to the grocery store to get stocked up and then i went to womens bible study, where we are studying t.d. jakes' "reposition yourself." somehow my personal bible study reading time never happened since the day took its own turn. i had planned to read and journal during the colonic but i was so entrenched in trying to figure things out - lol. but the bible study was fantastic...just what i needed.

it was great to to speak with the hydrotherapist. since i suffer from eczema, i wanted to discuss diet options. during fasting my eczema leaves and then when i resume my normal eating habits it returns. so i know it is a food allergy of some kind. since i just finished a cleanse (3 weeks ago) and a 10 day fast (a week ago), there is no trace of the eczema, so she advised that i begin adding certain things back to my diet one by one. i will be adding fish only for the next 30 days. and then shrimp. and on and on and on so that i can see what my body likes and what it doesnt like. tedious, i know, but so very worth it to be eczema free :-)

today was great. a lot of running around but great. and tomorrow is boot camp at 5:45 and believe it or not, im looking forward to it!!! good nite...
